\nOn August 26th and 27th, 2021, I participated, with Francisco, in the completion of the installation of a residential solar energy system in Cubango - Niter\u00f3i.\nWork carried out on two roofs, with Portuguese type ceramic tiles. The first of them from an area of \u200b\u200bthe barbecue, the solar panels, a string with 9 and another string with 4 445W Risen panels were already installed on the tracks. The other roof, of the residence, was only with the rails and supports. In the side corridor of the residence, two WEG inverters and the AC string box were already installed, as well as two vertical tubes for the electrical cables.\n\nOur work over the two days consisted of the following:\n\u2022\tTransport and installation of the 9 garage panels to the string over the edge of the roof\n\u2022\tTransport and installation of the 5 garage panels to the string closest to the roof ridge.\n\u2022\tInstallation of one more conduit close to the inverters\n\u2022\tOpening for the 3 conduits from the outside to the attic.\n\u2022\tOpening in the external sidewalk for installing a plastic box for grounding.\n\u2022\tInstallation of the electrical cables from the two roof strings of the barbecue area, to the attic.\n\u2022\tOpening in the attic for the barbecue string cables. Passage of cables through the attic through \n conduits to the passage hall where the inverters are (without passing them through the descent conduit yet).\n\u2022\tInstallation of the missing tiles on the roof of the barbecue area.\n\u2022\tReplacement of the broken tile flush with the rail support on the main roof.\n\u2022\tInstallation of the earth wire inspection box on the sidewalk in front of the residence.\n\u2022\tClean and organized work areas at the end of work.\n\n\nThe hardest part was running the electrical cables from the roof strings of the barbecue area to the loft of the residence and then into the hallway to be connected to the CC string box and then to the inverters. Tight and dark place where we pass the cables through conduits going down to the inverter area.\nThe tiles used on the roofs were of the Portuguese ceramic type, larger than those of the colonial type, and they crack easily.
