Definido o formato do casco (monocasco ou catamarã, opção monocasco), o tipo de veleiro (regata ou cruzeiro opção cruzeiro), definido o tamanho do veleiro (32 ou 36 pés opção 36 pés), definido o tipo de material do casco (alumínio), efetuadas algumas viagens e visitados vários estaleiros e galpões de construções de veleiros (Manolo em São Cristovão, Rio de Janeiro, Galpão do Edval em Guarulhos, estaleiro Ilha Sul em Porto Alegre, galpão do Lelei em Santa Maria do Sul, estaleiro Náutica Navegantes em Porto Alegre e Usinando em Itaboraí, RJ, agora falta decidir em qual estaleiro fazer a construção do Kiribati 36.
No momento a escolha recai em dois estaleiros: o Náutica Navegantes e o Usinando. No Náutica Navegantes fiz apenas uma visita e gostei da proposta do sr. Leco, que me deixou à vontade para acompanhar a construção do barco além de ter um bom preço.
O Usinando tem um preço maior, mas apresentou também uma boa proposta de excelente qualidade técnica, e tivemos reuniões em 29/06/2021, 02/07/2021,
29/07/2021: colocado em pauta a possibilidade de conseguir um Drawback de Embarcação modalidade em que entra a isenção do imposto de importação para materiais adquiridos no exterior e isso será verificado com a área jurídica.
05/08/2021: ficou definido que construção pela metade do barco, ou eja , só o casco e capota não contemplam a isenção pelo Drawback de Embarcação, assim o material para construção do barco terá que ser conseguida no Brasil mesmo.
e assim nos próximos dias será definida a opção por um dos dois estaleiros.
